Busy semester approaching.
This is my last year at art College, and this up and coming semester is one of the craziest. My course load is 100% full with a bit extra.
I've gotten into a limited capacity hands on seminar with Illustrator/printer Sanya Glisic. For two, eight hour Saturdays myself and 17 other students will work with her directly on the issue of Illustration, Fine art, and where the twain do meet.
On top of that I accepted the offer to become a Student Tutor in the Fiction Writing department. The class fills the last of my credits for the minor, affords me the opportunity to work with students to each better our writing together, and I get paid to tutor the students.
This semester I also have portfolio, another typography style course, sequential imaging, and of course Advanced Fiction writing.
Oh, and my teacher from last semester is submitting some of my work for consideration to be published in the Anthology we put out every year; which I might add wins top literary awards every year, gets used as a text book, and looks mighty fine on a credentials list.
On top of THAT I have the part time job to be working, which I know the boss will grossly dislike my suddenly limited hours. Last semester was busy but still lighter, and she "suggested" that I open my Saturday availability and stop taking that day off "for fun." I don't know what she thinks I do as a student, but I'm guessing work isn't one of those things.
So yes. Busy lives ahead. Work there will be and post it I shall.
For now it is Summer, and that means concerts, rewrites, sketching, vacations, CONVENTIONS, Renaissance Faires, and all around good times.
